Orihuela Costa Map: The map above shows the ever popular coastal region known as the Orihuela Costa, it is the coastal region which serves the inland city of Orihuela and contains some of the best known resorts in the region, in an area of the Costa Blanca that is especially popular with the British and the Irish.

Almost the most southerly part of the Costa Blanca (barring Torre de la Horadada and Pilar de la Horadada), the Orihuela Costa is to the south of Torrevieja another popular and well known town. Served by two airports Murcia and Alicante,it is a fairly easy area to get to and there are plenty of transportation options.

Orihuela Costa Resorts: Starting from the north the main resorts of the Orihuela Costa are Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Dehesa de Campoamor and Mil Palmeras. In between are a number of urbanizations many of which have become resorts in their own right, these include Los Altos, Los Balcones, La Florida, Zeniamar, and La Regia. The largest urbanization surrounds a golf course and is called Villamartin, the two other golf courses also have their own residential areas, and these are Club de Golf Campoamor and Las Ramblas Golf. Other areas which you will see on this Orihuela Costa map include Blue Lagoon, Eagle's Nest and Los Dolses, all really part of the larger Villamartin urbanization.

There are a huge range of facilities on the Orihuela Costa, some of the best are on Cabo Roig strip, and in the commercial centres of La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima.
